Clotho Configuration for APT
============================

User Accounts
-------------

The following accounts are used in some way by the APT software:

	sstadmin
	newprop
	phase2p
	tphase2p

Initialization
--------------

inittab (or comparable initialization mechanism) should include starting APT servers via the
following scripts:

	/clotho/usr/local/APT/start_APTIDServer start

	/clotho/usr/local/APT/Test/start_APTIDServer_test start

both run as user sstadmin.

The servers should be up and running.

Network
-------

Port 20202 should be available for the RMI name server and open through the firewall.
Ports 20201 and 20203 should be available but do not need to be open through the firewall.

FTP
---

FTP server must be running and anonymous access must be enabled.
FTP accounts newprop, phase2p and tphase2p must be available.

The following directories need to be available in /data/clotho1/ftp/:

drwx-wx-wt   8 newprop    269824 May 18 20:42 upload/
drwx-wx-wt   8 newprop    269824 May 18 20:42 upload/test/

drwxrwxrwt   3 newprop      1536 May 19 13:15 phase2-upload/
drwxrwxrwt   3 newprop      1536 May 19 13:15 phase2-upload/test/

All four directories are written to by anonymous FTP.

MOSS
----

nemesis:/nemesis/moss1 should be mounted as /data/moss
