The Astronomer's Proposal Tool (APT) 3.0 has been delivered and is now
   available for download and from the Solaris 8 portion of the Unix Science
   and Sogs networks.

   This release includes the following tools and subsystems:

      Exposure Time Calculator       (ETC 1.1)
      Visual Target Tuner            (VTT 3.0)

      Bright Object Tool             (BOT 1.0)
      Observatory Constraint Manager (OCM 1.0)

   The ETC and VTT may be invoked on the Solaris 8 portion of the Unix
   Science and Sogs networks with the commands "etc" and "vtt".

   APT 3.0 may be downloaded through the APT website at:

       http://apt.stsci.edu
