APT Architecture/Infrastructure Design/Requirements Open Issues

This document records the open issues with the requirements which will have significant impact upon system design.

Requirements Open Issues:

1. Push or pull of data

2. Process knowledge

   How much knowledge of the propsal preparation process is included in the infrastructure?

3. Data Model must be able to compensate for network & non-network modes

   How accurate must it be when running non-networked?

4. Metrics

   Need to determine:

   • which metrics to collect
   • how these metrics will be used

6. Error handling

   • Will they be popped up to the user? Logged?
   • How will they be differentiated from diagnostics?

7. Automated support for regression testing

8. RPS2 Support

   • what level of RPS2 support should be provided?
   • Will the data flow one-way (to RPS2 or from RPS2) or both ways?
